The

formed already in 1958 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
It means that in 2008
the group celebrated their
50th

The Spotnicks is mainly characterized by and associated with the lead guitarist
Bo Winberg and his uniqe playing style, guitar sound and music arrangements.
Few people know
that The Spotnicks
have released ore than 700 (!) songs since 1961 and that they are
still productive.
In May 2003 a CD-album
with new recordings of old hits
was
released and another longed-for cd came out in September
2006.
From the turn of the millenium
several live-conserts took place
around Sweden and abroad.
In March 2003
The Spotnicks
performed
at legendary London Palladium followed by concerts in six Swedish cities in
one week.
The late years The Spotnicks
even performed
in a crowded Swedish Church twice and in December 2008 they where special
guests at

in Antwerpen and performed together with
Mungo Jerry, Chris Montez, Billy Joe Royal, Dave Berry, Gerry & The
Pacemakers, Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, The Troggs & The Hollies
